Applicants are normally expected to hold a Master’s degree in economics. However, students with outstanding records in undergraduate honours programs in economics may be admitted directly; such students should have demonstrated success in intermediate and upper-level undergraduate courses in economic theory, mathematics, statistics and econometrics.
